The ‘On The Move‘ campaign has recently published a new publication on the European Journal of Pain (EJP) entitled ‘Physical activity should be the primary intervention for individuals living with chronic pain‘.
The paper summarises the benefits of physical activity and provides five key recommendations for healthcare professionals to assess, advise and support individuals living with chronic pain conditions in adopting, and sustaining, physically active lifestyles, as including physical activity in the daily routine can improve the quality of care and life of individuals living with chronic pain, reducing their overall health risks.
The paper is available here and downloadable here.
