Autumn 2026 programme
The Clinical Cases Programme returns this autumn with three new Clinical Case videos, covering IBS, acute-transitional pain, and lumbar radiculopathy, releasing in September 2026. Each is followed by a live discussion session in October, in the same interactive format as the spring series.

Case-based analysis of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), exploring the psychological perspective alongside dietary and pharmacological management.
Learning objective: Recognise the psychological contributors to IBS and apply multidisciplinary strategies alongside dietary and pharmacological management.

Case-based analysis of perioperative pain management in an older adult undergoing revision knee arthroplasty, led by a nurse-run transitional pain service.

Case-based analysis of chronic lumbar radiculopathy, covering assessment, red-flag screening, and multidisciplinary treatment planning.

HOW THE PROGRAMME WORKS
Each live session builds on one of the Clinical Case recordings available on the EFIC Academy platform.
Faculty revisit key elements of the case and respond to questions submitted in advance or during the session.
Recordings and additional resources remain available to members via Moodle after each session.
Good to know: Participation live is encouraged but not mandatory. Recordings are accessible afterwards.
