I have attended the EFIC Pain School in Krakow in June 2019 and would like to thank everyone in the European and National associations for that possibility.

All participants were warmly welcomed in Pain School by Professor Przewlocka and Professor Villanueva. Everything was very well organized, planned, and still, anything we needed could be arranged.

Professor Przewlocka and her team were there for us and made us feel welcome and like we were at home. Accommodation and classroom were very pleasant.

The Krakow Pain School is quite different from the other Pain Schools I have attended.

The mixture of pre-clinicians and clinicians, basic scientist and clinic researchers was great. Sometimes it was more interesting for me, sometimes lectures were more interesting for other students, but we all could learn a lot. Also, for the first time, there was organized a poster session.

The poster session was a good idea, as far as I am concerned, because we could introduce ourselves briefly and every participant could hear basic information about other participants.

After that, we could easily approach others whose work was more similar to ours.

Further on, lectures were well planned. Sessions were not too long and there was enough time for discussion. We had enough free time to communicate with each other, and also to ask and approach lecturers. In this school, there were also really good workshop and discussions.

And finally, a very important part of the school was very well-organised free time. The tours around the city and leisure communication at restaurants were great. I also had the opportunity to exchange experiences with participants from other countries.

Once again thank you very much for this great experience.
