We are pleased to share that the European Pain Federation EFIC is opening a Call for Modules for the EFIC Academy Education Platform. If you have a topic you want to teach and colleagues you want to teach it with, submit your proposal by 8 November 2026.
What is a module?
A module is a series of 10-20 minute video presentations on one common topic. Each module is led by a Module Chair, who:
- brings together the presenters
- coordinates the content of the presentations
- liaises with the EFIC team
Modules can be aimed at physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, other allied health professionals, or a multidisciplinary audience. Each module should map to the relevant EFIC Pain Curriculum.
Why submit a module?
- Reach learners across Europe and beyond. Your module will be available to pain professionals at every career stage and across all disciplines.
- Support the next generation of diplomates. Modules are linked to the EFIC Pain Curricula, so they help colleagues preparing for the EDPM, EDPP, EDPN, and EDPPsy exams.
- Receive three one-year EFIC Academy subscriptions. Each successful proposal earns these for the submitting authors or their junior colleagues.

What happens next?
All proposals will be reviewed by the EFIC Academy Programme Committee. Applicants will receive an update around Q4 2026, depending on the number of proposals received. Personal data will be handled in line with EFIC’s Privacy Policy.
