Professor Brona Fullen, Immediate Past President of EFIC, looks back at her Presidential Health Literacy Campaign, entitled ‘Plain Talking’.
Brona Fullen is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science, University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. She holds a BSc Physiotherapy (UUJ) and PhD (UCD) degrees. Brona teaches in the area of pain science to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is a founding member and Co-Director of the UCD Centre for Translational Pain Research. Brona’s research areas of interest include health literacy and the multidisciplinary assessment and rehabilitation of people with chronic pain.Further, she was the President of EFIC between 2020-2023.
