This year, the exam will be available in three languages: English, German or Dutch. For German- or Dutch-speaking nurses, the written multiple-choice question paper and oral viva examination will both be conducted in German or Dutch, respectively. The administrative processes required for registration remain in English.
Please note that part 1 and part 2 will be held on the same day on 9 October 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.

The EDPN aims to establish a harmonised understanding of specialist pain management nursing across Europe. It offers a qualification accessible to all European nurses, as well as those outside of Europe.
