The Portuguese Association for the Study of Pain (APED) launched the English version of the book “Drawings of my Pain”.

“Drawings of my Pain” is the result of the best drawings gathered through a contest launched by APED to hospitalized children, to help them release their personal emotions and their perspective of pain in an easier and playful way.

The book is part of the APED activities to celebrate the Global and European Year against Pain in the most Vulnerable.

Both the exhibition and the book are intended to be a useful tool for health professionals, caregivers and the general public, with the aim of improving the treatment of pain in this very special population.

The Portuguese and the English version of the book are now available.
