The most recent figures on journal citation show an increase in the impact factor of the European Journal of Pain (EJP). The 2018 impact factor was 3.2, an increase of 0.2. Impact factor is calculated on the basis of citations of the papers published and represents the influence of the journal on the work of researchers.
The EJP is the house journal of the European Pain Federation EFIC and a crucial publication in the pain research ecosystem. The Executive Board of EFIC pass on their congratulations to Editor-in-Chief Luis Garcia Larrea and all section editors of the journal for their hard work.
