European Year Against Pain 2020
Since 2001, European Pain Federation EFIC® has held an awareness raising campaign named ‘The European Week Against Pain’ (EWAP). In collaboration with the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) the European Pain Federation EFIC® provides briefing packs and factsheets on the designated theme. 2020’s theme is Prevention of Pain. EFIC Pain Curricula and Examinations
The European Pain Federation organize various post-graduate diploma examinations. We have developed curricula on pain medicine and pain physiotherapy with accompanying examinations. the examinations for the European Diploma in Pain Medicine (EDPM) and the European Diploma in Pain Psychology (EDPP) take place once a year. EFIC COVID-19 Task Force: Pain Management during COVID-19
The EFIC COVID-19 Task Force was created after realizing the need of our community for news related to pain management and COVID-19. By distributing relevant information in an objective way on our website the European Pain Federation aims to centralize all-important research on COVID-19 and pain.

The European Journal of Pain (EJP) is the official journal of the European Pain Federation EFIC®. It is a multi-disciplinary, international journal that aims to be a global forum on all aspects of pain research and pain management. Every month the Journal provides free access to three articles. The Societal Impact of Pain (SIP)
The ‘Societal Impact of Pain’ (SIP) platform is a multi-stakeholder partnership led by the European Pain Federation EFIC and Pain Alliance Europe (PAE), which aims to raise awareness of pain and change pain policies. The platform provides opportunities for discussion for health care professionals, pain advocacy groups, politicians, healthcare insurance providers, representatives of health authorities, regulators, and budget holders.
