#EFIC2023 Venue

The EFIC Congress 2023 – Pain in Europe XIII will be held at the beautiful HUNGEXPO Exhibition Centre in Hungary. HUNGEXPO’s infrastructure, which was completely renewed in 2021, provides an unparalleled venue for any major event. The exhibition area was expanded with two new pavilions while the existing halls were refurbished as well. With the new Congress Centre, the venue is offering a total of 75 000 m2 covered event space. After its expansion, it is the largest multifunctional event complex in Central and Eastern Europe. All this is in the heart of Budapest, with convenient access from the city’s ample hotels and just 16km from the airport in a green park surroundings welcoming visitors of all kinds of events.

How to get to HUNGEXPO

Budapest has an extensive public transport network. It is operated by the company BKK (Budapesti Közlekedési Központ / Centre for Budapest Transport). The service includes buses, trolleybuses, trams, underground railway, metro, above-ground suburban trains (HÉV) and funicular railway. These have several lines throughout the city. From the airport, You can access the city centre from the airport by taxi service, airport shuttle bus, public transport (Bus 100E, Bus 200E) or car.

If you approach Hungexpo by public transport, Bus 10 is passing on a round way from Örs Vezér Tere metro station around HUNGEXPO and basically stops at each gate. See the exact stops and the timetable for Bus 10 HERE.  You can also take the metro to Pillangó utca station with Metro Line 2 (M2) and from there the main entrance is about a 15 minute walk away.
