On the 9th of November 2021, the Annual SIP Stakeholder Forum (SF) took place online. The SIP team welcomed European and National colleagues to review recent SIP activities and achievements, and to discuss SIP’s 2022 aspirations and longer-term priorities.

The SIP team thanks all attendees for their contributions to the discussion. Topics of focus for 2022 include:

  • continued work on employment and pain policy;
  • digital health and pain;
  • multi-modal pain treatment;
  • impact of COVID and;
  • ICD-11;

Additionally, Stakeholders are invited to sign a SIP SF Memorandum of Understanding (SIP SF MoU) to help strengthen their participation in the SIP SF. It is intended that this MoU will pave the way for Stakeholders to provide input into future SIP Position Papers, such as the upcoming Draft SIP Position Paper on Digital Health: Pain Assessment and Quality Indicators.
