SIP Armenia is currently in development, and we are pleased to see the progress being made towards strengthening pain care, professional education, and patient advocacy in Armenia, in close collaboration with the National Association of Pain Medicine of Armenia and international partners.
An important upcoming milestone is the Armenian International Congress of Pain Medicine (AICPM 2.0) and Yerevan Pain Days 2026, taking place on 4–6 December in Yerevan under the motto “Making Pain Care a Right, Not a Privilege”.
The event will bring together Armenian and international experts to discuss multidisciplinary pain management, clinical education, interventional approaches, and the development of sustainable pain care services.
The congress will also provide an important opportunity to strengthen the visibility and collaborative development of SIP Armenia, connecting national priorities with broader European efforts in pain advocacy and policy.
Looking ahead to 2027, our priorities include advancing pain education, promoting greater recognition of chronic pain as a public health priority, supporting multidisciplinary care, and strengthening collaboration with SIP National Platforms.
Our guiding principle remains simple: “No One Should Be Left Alone with Pain”.
