As we move through 2026, have a look at SIP Sweden’s spring activities:
In May, they promoted the implementation of the P3C pathway and ICD-11 by presenting at the Global Conference on Person-Centred Care (May 4–7th). They also facilitated research collaboration by participating in the research days for the Swedish Quality Registry for Pain Rehabilitation (May 19-26th).
On May 25th, SIP Sweden hosted a digital network meeting with all associations in SIP Sweden.
Additionally, they launched the Swedish translation of the educational materials (infographics) from SIP Europe during the spring.
Looking ahead to what SIP Sweden will work on:
SIP Sweden will be presented at Almedalen’s week, a democratic meeting place for anyone who wants to join the conversation on current social issues, from June 22-26th.
Late in autumn, on October 8–9th, SIP Sweden will be presented at Smärtforum, the national pain congress in Sweden.
On October 21st, they are arranging a webinar to acknowledge the “European Day on Pain Awareness” as part of their continuous work to increase knowledge about pain among healthcare professionals and in society.
In November/December, they will hold a hybrid network meeting with all associations in SIP Sweden. For the same period, they are also planning to host the Advocacy Toolkit Training.
Alongside these specific events, SIP Sweden is continuously working throughout the year to identify possible sponsors and to create and develop a dedicated website for SIP Sweden.
