Prof. Dr. Martin Rakuša is a representative of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) which is one of the main endorsing organisations of the SIP platform.

He talked about the multi-stakeholder approach against pain and how every partner can contribute in the battle against the impact of pain. Prof. Rakuša shared his view on the future of pain in Europe as discussed in the plenary session at SIP 2019 and also what the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) is doing to tackle the societal impact of pain.

Martin Rakuša presented also a poster in the session on SIP-related initiatives (No 20; EUROPEAN ACADEMY OF NEUROLOGY – ABOLISHING PAIN) with the conclusion “We believe that advancing the cause of neurology is best done through collaboration. All described activities strengthen our mutual goal – abolishing pain and helping patients in Europe and worldwide.”
