On the 28th of May 2021, the SIP team met online with the Office of MEP Cyrus Engerer (S&D, Malta). In addition to the office of MEP Engerer, and the SIP team, the meeting was also attended by Gertrude Buttigieg of SIP Malta. The team spoke about:
- SIP’s long-term priorities
- SIP’s 2020-21 Policy Priorities (cancer pain policies, employment and social of pain patients, and pain and digital medicine),
- the SIP Cancer Pain Policy Paper key facts and key recommendations, and
- the recommendations from the 2nd March cancer event
SIP looks forward to continued dialogue and collaboration with the Office of MEP Engerer on issues related to cancer and employment.
