Low health literacy can negatively impact decisions related to prevention, screening, treatment, palliative care, and end-of-life services.

Enhancing health literacy in cancer care is fundamental to improving pain management and overall patient outcomes. The project’s objectives align with the needs of the pain community by ensuring that patients and healthcare providers have the necessary knowledge and tools to manage pain effectively throughout the cancer care continuum.
