#EFIC2027 Venue
The EFIC Congress 2027 – Pain in Europe XV, will be held at Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow, Scotland.
The SEC accommodates up to 14,300 people in its largest arena, and is consistently ranked by Pollstar in the top 10 busiest venues in the world. With over 30 meeting spaces, 5 exhibition halls (22,000 m²), and 3 auditoriums, the SEC is designed for large-scale conferences and events in a central city location. The SEC is located within one of “Europe’s hippest neighbourhoods” and is close to some of Glasgow’s best pubs, restaurants, and green spaces providing an excellent space for delegates to explore and network.

Public transportation in Glasgow is operated by several networks coordinated under Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT). Services include buses, the Glasgow Subway (underground), and local trains, which connect the city centre with surrounding areas.
Buses run daily from around 5:00 am until midnight, with certain routes offering night services on weekends. The Glasgow Subway operates Monday to Saturday from 6:30 am to 11:40 pm and Sundays from 10:00 am to 6:12 pm.

Getting to the venue from the airport:
By bus:
The Glasgow Airport Express service 500, operated by First Bus, runs between the airport and Buchanan Bus Station in the city centre 24 hours a day, with departures every 10 minutes during the day. From Buchanan Bus Station, local bus services provide convenient connections to SEC. The full journey takes around 30–40 minutes.
By taxi:
Taxis are available outside the main terminal. The ride to the SEC takes approximately 15–20 minutes, with fares typically ranging between £25 and £30.
By train:
Glasgow Airport does not have a direct rail link, but travellers can take the Glasgow Airport Express service 500 to the city centre (around 15 minutes). Get off at the stop ”Bothwell Street Hope Street”. From there, it’s a short walk to Glasgow Central Station, where you can take a train towards Helensburgh Central, Dalmuir, or Milngavie and get off at Exhibition Centre Station, which is directly connected to the SEC via a covered walkway. Trains run approximately every 10–15 minutes, and the full journey from the airport to the SEC takes around 30–40 minutes.

All major car rental companies have offices in the arrivals hall of Glasgow Airport (GLA). The airport is conveniently located just off the M8 motorway, about 15 minutes by car from SEC.
