The Societal Impact of Pain (SIP) Platform welcomes the European Commission’s 2024-2029 Political Guidelines, launched on 18th July and the Mission Letter to the new Health Commissioner, launched on 17th September.
SIP welcomes the new health policies and priorities, including a new Critical Medicines Act, the focus on the European Health Data Space; mental health and other non-communicable diseases; as well as the focus on access to advanced treatments, amongst others.
SIP remains committed to collaborating with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and advocacy groups to promote effective pain management strategies in line with these EU initiatives.
