October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month! A chance to:
- Raise awareness of breast cancer,
- Inform about the importance of early detection for effective treatment,
- Highlight research advances in the field and innovative treatment approaches.
Breast cancer is among the most frequent forms of cancer and the leading cause of cancer death in women. The Societal Impact of Pain platform (SIP) has a mission to foster advances in cancer-related pain policies. It managed to have some of its priorities included in the BECA Draft ‘Report on strengthening Europe in the fight against cancer – towards a comprehensive and coordinated strategy’.
