The National Platform SIP Portugal (PT) is organising a webinar to celebrate the National Day Against Pain on the 16th of October. The event will be online or online/in person, after the 2021 APED Congress (VII APED2021).
SIP PT will emphasise the fact that WHO includes “chronic pain as a disease” in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11). The topics to be discussed will be related to SIP’s objectives and the presentation of the SIP PT Website.
The main subjects of the event will be:
- Projects developed by SIP PT in 2021 and objectives for 2022;
- Pain-related to cancer;
- The challenges related to employment and social integration of pain patients and
- Literacy on pain for patients
