With the European Commission developing a European Mental Health Strategy in 2023, SIP submitted an answer to the EC Road Map for the European Mental Health Strategy earlier this month. Find out more: SIP EC Response Mental Health and Pain_14_2_23.
SIP’s main objective is to raise awareness on pain and change pain policies. With pain and mental disorders often co-occuring, one of SIP 2023 priorities is Mental Health and Pain and to highlight, among others, the importance of allocating adequate funding for pain research with regards to mental health.
