We had the pleasure of hosting over 3,500 attendees, a 30% increase on the last meeting, and enjoyed exceptionally high participation in our scientific sessions and refresher courses.
We believe some new innovations, such as the young investigators session format and the patient track, were very well-received. We look forward to a strong start towards developing the next programme based on the feedback of our 2019 delegates survey. We will share the survey results and how we will build that in our future plans in the coming months!
#EFIC2019 Facebook Live Sessions
Among the many innovations at EFIC this year, we had livestreamed sessions and Facebook live sessions targeted to a patient audience. Throughout the congress, Dr. Morten Hoegh interviewed many speakers to get even more information on their areas of expertise. These interviews were filmed and are still available in full on our Facebook page.
#EFIC2019 e-Poster Archive
We are very proud of the large number of abstracts at EFIC 2019. We received over 1,200, an increase of over 50% on 2017. We’re happy to announce that the e-poster archive of #EFIC2019 is now online and can be found here.
#EFIC2019 Picture Gallery
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Between inspiring sessions, amazing networking opportunities and a diverse, engaged audience it was a real challenge to narrow it down our congress pictures highlights! You can browse through our selection here (all pictures: © Isabelle Pateer).
#EFIC2021: Save the Date
We continue to work on bringing the future to the present by focusing on our next congress. #EFIC2021 will be taking place in Dublin, Ireland from September 29 to October 2, 2021
