The 14th Belgrade International Symposium on Pain (14th BISOP) will be held in Belgrade, Serbia from May, 17 to 18, 2019. Over time, BISOP became the most important multidisciplinary symposium in the field of pain medicine, not just in Serbia, but also in the region.
Last year BISOP hosted 830 participants including specialist, residents and students from medicine and medicine related fields and nurses. To encourage participation from Serbia, neighboring countries and over the world we made our registration fees affordable for every budget. BISOP hosts international speakers involved in pain research and practice to present topics covering pain phenomenon from different angles.
The BISOP team encourages promotion of scientific writing and research in the field of pain by organizing topical workshops and posters presentation. BISOP is also dedicated to patients and family members education and this is the year that they are promoting their poster containing information about postoperative pain for patients and family, project supported by EFIC PainOUT initiative. BISOP also provides Proceeding book free to download from our site. This year the symposium is dedicated to translation of pain evidence into practice.
