This year, the first SIP Netherlands took place in the Hague
In April 2019, high-level representatives of pain met with Dutch members of the parliament met in the Netherlands.
The objective of the meeting was to start a political dialogue and to make sure that pain gets the attention it deserves.

Next year, the Netherlands will host the following congresses:
March 20, 2020: Pain Alliance in the Netherlands (PA!N) National Congress
August 4-8, 2020: IASP 2020 World Congress on Pain will be held in Amsterdam
Members from the European Pain Federation (EFIC), German & Belgian Pain Societies, as well as PA!N make up the Local Advisory Committee.
