The European Pain Federation EFIC Pain Schools are courses aimed at young European medical doctors and allied health professionals who are interested in further developing their knowledge and expertise in the field of pain management.

The courses run for 4-5 days and include an evidence-based approach to the assessment, diagnosis and comprehensive management of patients with chronic pain.

 

Upcoming Schools

  • Klagenfurt (Basic Pain Concepts), Austria: 8 – 13 September 2019
  • Venice (Neuropathic Pain), Italy: 7 – 10 October 2019

The deadline for the Klagenfurt and Venice Pain Schools is 30 June 2019.

A total of 15 places are provided free of charge through a grant from EFIC. Please apply early if you wish to benefit from the grant!

 

How can I apply for a grant to attend a European Pain Federation EFIC® Pain School?

Applicants wishing to attend a Pain School must complete this application form and send it directly to secretary@efic.org.

Applications can be proposed by EFIC Councillors, or submitted directly.

All applications are evaluated by the European Pain Federation EFIC® Committee on Education and approved by the Executive Board.
