Still few days left to endorse the Societal Impact of Pain (SIP) Joint Statement!

We are very grateful for the support and contribution of pain stakeholders across Europe so far. The composition of our endorsers truly mirror the multi stakeholder approach necessary to tackle the societal impact of pain. We count on more than 70 stakeholders including healthcare professionals, patient groups, foundations, companies and policymakers. Our supporters are based in more than 17 European countries along with global, regional and local stakeholders. Want to know more about our stakeholders? You can find here some of their thoughts on our Joint Statement and feel free to share them with your community!

The end of the endorsement process doesn’t mark the end of our work. We will continue engaging with policymakers and society to work towards the implementation of our Joint Statement recommendations and make sure that the valuable best practices and policies we have collected this year are taken into account in future evidence-based policy making.

We already count on the political endorsement of various MEPs in the European Parliament and the Office of the Commissioner for Mental Health of Malta and we will continue our societal engagement to bring our SIP Joint Statement to life.
