The PANACEA International Summer School on Placebo and Nocebo was convened in Madrid in July 2024, wherein advanced interdisciplinary training was provided to students on placebo and nocebo effects from diverse European universities. EFIC has led the exploration of placebo and nocebo effects in clinical practice, focusing on the perspectives, methodologies, and educational requirements of clinicians across Europe. This research was presented as a poster abstract at IASP2024, with the manuscript scheduled for submission in early 2025. In 2025, EFIC intends to collaborate closely with the PANACEA Consortium to facilitate dissemination activities aimed at enhancing the project’s impact.
