The Danish Pain Society (DSF) and Foreningen af Kroniske Smerteramte og Pårørende (FAKS) formalised their collaboration under the SIP Denmark National Platform in late 2025, uniting healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients with complementary perspectives and competencies.
Together, they combine clinical expertise, research experience, communication skills, political insight, and lived experience with pain.
Throughout 2026, their main objective will be to further strengthen collaboration between the two organisations and to work jointly towards the implementation of ICD-11 in Denmark.
