Since its launch in spring 2025, SIP Sweden has rapidly undertaken initiatives to raise awareness about pain and influence pain-related policies. Some of the platform’s main activities in 2025 included:

- Organising national gatherings that brought together various professional and patient associations, offering them an opportunity to present their visions and efforts.

- Submitting an abstract to the Global Conference on Person-Centred Care, based on a perspective paper published in Non-biomedical Perspectives on Pain and its Prevention and Management – Volume II.

- Translating SIP infographics into Swedish.

- Co-authoring the scientific article “An Action Plan: The Swedish Healthcare Pathway for Adults with Chronic Pain”, published in Scandinavian Journal of Pain.
