The European Journal of Pain (EJP) has increased its impact factor in 2020. Recent analysis show the journal has a new impact factor of 3.931, in comparison to 2019, where the impact factor was 3.492. The impact factor is calculated on the basis of citations of the papers published and represents the influence of the journal on the work of researchers.

The EJP is the official journal of the European Pain Federation EFIC and a key publication in the pain research community. The Executive Board of EFIC congratulates Luis Garcia Larrea, Editor-in-Chief of the EJP, and all section editors of the journal for their outstanding work in what it has been a challeging year for all. Thanks are also in order to all researchers who chose the EJP as the ideal platform to publish their work.
