The EFIC Rising Stars Programme is a new initiative to connect and support early career researchers in the European pain field. As part of this programme, we are launching the monthly ECR Coffee Club.
What is the Coffee Club? An informal, welcoming space to meet peers, share ideas and experiences, and grow your European research network. Join a relaxed session with your future collaborators, colleagues, conference buddies, and friends. Discuss scientific and day-to-day challenges or successes and build your international network.
Who can join? Any early career researcher (primarily PhDs and postdocs, but all are welcome) – you don’t even have to be in Europe!
When? The last Tuesday of the month at 12:00 CET for 45 minutes. The first session will be on 27 January 2026 and take place on Zoom. News and updates will be shared through email, social media, and the EFIC Discord Community.
What do I need to prepare? Your favourite beverage! Nothing else is required.
What will we talk about? Each session will revolve around a central theme, but we can talk about whatever we want. If you have a topic you’d like to see included, let us know and we can incorporate it. Each session will begin with an introduction to the theme followed by approximately 40 minutes discussions.
Do I need to pay? No, participation is free.
